Singapore to Sydney. Cabin was ok attendant was not on the ball I had no clean towels 3 separate times and no spare toilet paper also. Dining room, 2nd sitting was half full/empty, The main meals were warm to cool, not hot,the creme brullee was just custard in a ramekin, The windjammer had a better variety but again have seen better. I didn't have to line up for my breakfast or lunch in the windjammer but to make a cup of tea was hard no room allowed for people to make there own or put sugar/milk in. Tables were cleaned rather quickly from my observation. The washy washy guys was great at their jobs. The tender situation was just unbelievable, I waited 4hours to leave the ship in Port Douglas and then had to wait on a catamaran. Again in Yorkeys Knob but not as bad and the Airlie Beach was also not quite as bad. Not sure what the real problem was as the passengers were given different excuses, Ship to Shore distance, tides, rules and regulations who knows. I sailed on the Voyager when she first arrived in Au and I must admit this cruise was not like the first. The embarking in Singapore by the Singapore authorities was shocking for a country so well planned in everything else. Queue after queue upstairs then downstairs then queue until you finally got on board. The guest services could have done with more people they all seemed to walk in and out of the back door and watched and looked at what there colleagues were doing. drinks were not cheap and to go to the bar on the open decks and ask for a glass of water with a wedge of lemon was pitiful, the service was "wait a minutes I will serve the alcohol drinks first". They should have a container on the bar with iced water in it so people can pour their own water The entertainers was all good and the dancers and singers were ok I have seen better, I felt the main singer the bigger girl had a very squeaky hi pitch voice, The Ice Skaters were just great even the second cast were good. The balcony deck railing looked as though it had been sanded back and was crying out for a coat of varnish. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. The TV was just an ornament as most of the shows were either so old or repeated so many times and all in another language no matter how many times you tried to change it to English so it was best left off or just on the ships map for background music. The up side is RCI do have a small kettle in each cabin, this to me is a plus.I also praise RCI for supplying the life vest for children and in saying this the parents should be more aware of their kids in the pool.I only done one port excursion and it well planned. A most enjoyable was had.
The cabin was clean and comfortable, however the cabin attendant was lacking in service on a few occasions such as no clean towels left and no spare toilet rolls, The kettle is a big plus in the room.
The embarkment was not the best very disappointing for Singapore
Enjoyed the Port of Darwin, I did my own thing and enjoyed it and finsihed off with a swim in the lagoon
I again did my own thing in Cairns
The best day of all, was just great.
