First let me start by saying that my wife and I have been on 13 cruises in the past 15 years so we are seasoned cruisers. Although it's been several years, we have been on Royal Caribbean several times in the past and had no complaints.

Our nightmare started the night we boarded with diner. The food arrived cold and didn't taste very good. several people at our table complained and sent back entrees for these reasons. (Much to our surprise, this continued throughout the cruise). The next morning when we awoke, we were informed that due to bad seas, we could not visit the first island. We understand that this happens sometimes but the ship was totally unprepared for it. the pool had been drained and was not available for most of the day and of course there were no places to sit on deck due to people saving chairs for others that never showed up. When I asked the staff about it, I was told there was nothing they could do about it even though there were signs on deck to the contrary. Since the weather was so bad we went to the excursion desk to cancel our snorkeling trip for the following day only to be told that we could not cancel, so we lost the money for that excursion. My wife went to the ship library to get a book only to find that there were only three books in the library. I went to the internet cafe to check messages and found that three if the six computers there were out of service.

Then when I wrote to Royal Caribbean about the problems, I got a letter back saying they were sorry and they would try to do better next time we sailed with them. I'm sure that wont happen.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin I

The cabis was very clean but very small. I was told that this ship has the smallest cabins in the fleet.
