The Magellan was great with excellent service, efficient and polite staff, superb excursions, but unfortunately average food.My cabin was quite comfortable and my cabin steward outstanding. As soon as we went for breakfast, he was busy cleaning and changing sheet and towels and by the time we were back the cabin was immaculate. The entertainment also was outstanding with excellent singers, musicians and choreography. The tour director,Katy was fabulous and entertaining and kept everyone happy. She was also and excellent singer and dancer with a great sense of humor. The excursions were also excellent. The guided visit to the Hermitage museum was the highlight of the excursions and it is a MUST if you ever go to St Petersburg. If I had a suggestion it would be to play some dancing music in the night clubs instead of teenager disco music. This was a poor choice considering most of the passengers were 70-90 years of age.

Cabin Review

Cabin 12

The service was great and the activities very good. My only criticism is the music was not appropriate for dancing with the passengers being mostly between 60 and 80 years of age.
