We had a wonderful time on Freedom of the Seas. The staff was terrific and efficient and friendly, too. The ship was very clean and our balcony was one of the largest that we've had. We enjoyed the entertainment, with the musical production shows and the ice show being our favorites. The food was TOO delicious...we put on five pounds !!!!!

We were VERY pleasantly pleased on formal night to see HOW MANY people were dressed up. We had read that many passengers were no longer dressing formally, but that was certainly not the case on our cruise. There was a nice selection of tours for each port stop. We did have rain some days, however, and our excursion to swim with the stingrays was cancelled due to high winds in Grand Cayman. The only other tour that we did was to see the pyramids in Chichen Itza. It was an informative and interesting tour, but a long one. Because it is such a long travel time to get there, we only had about 60 minutes at the site. We are, however, happy that we went and would like to return there some time. The cruise director was one of the best that we've had on a cruise. He was very funny and kept us laughing. Embarkation and disembarkation were terrifically quick and easy.

We have sailed Royal Caribbean, Princess, Celebrity and Azamara. This was our 21st cruise and they all have pros and cons, but this cruise had more pros than cons. If you try the Freedom, we're sure you will be happy with your choice. Bon Voyage !!!

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E3

Cabin was very nice. Plenty of storage. The balcony was very large. We were able to have our steward open the wall divider between our cabin and our relatives cabin next door. It gave us a lot of space. There are 2 chairs and a small table.

Port Reviews

Labadee

Nice beach, but outside the lagoon the seas were rough. Only one facility for eating was open due to the poor weather.

Falmouth

Just shopped for a while and then returned to the ship.
