Sail Date: Oct 2016
Cabin: Deluxe Veranda 2A

We were back to back from Honolulu, so to stay on the ship meant a shorter flight home for us. We had the same cabin so change over day was easy for us. The staff did their best to make life easy for everyone on back to back by organising an information meeting prior to our arrival in Australia. Christian Bell, the Guest Relations Manager also organised a get together for Captain's Club BTB guests on the last sea day.

I found the ship to be very clean and the staff very welcoming and helpful. There have been minor cut backs in certain areas to cut costs and I guess to pay for offers to entice you to book.

Food was good in all the restaurants etc. We loved Murano for a treat! As it was a repeat cruise they did offer extra dishes on the menu in the MDR such as Fish and Chips, but this may only be for the Australian market? They did run out of things as the ship was going into dry dock at the end of this cruise. The puddings in the MDR, are so very boring with little change from day to day. There is a much better selection elsewhere on the ship.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 2A

Cabin 2A

Good position with plenty of storage space. The bed was very comfortable. Not a lot of movement when we hit rough weather. A very quiet position.

Port Reviews

Sydney (Australia)

So easy to walk from the ship and catch the ferry to Manley for the morning. Then we came back and went to The Rocks market for the afternoon. We had stayed in Sydney before so wanted a relaxing day. The weather was fantastic!
