The Paradise is close to home so some friends and I decided to try it out. The ship is beautiful and very clean. We have been on other Carnival ships and our only complaint was the slow service. It appears they have fewer employees than in the past so it takes longer to get dinner or even a drink by the pool. The employees we were in contact with were all very happy and wanted to assist with anything they could. There was a trio of violinists that were amazing playing in the atrium several nights. Calvyn, the cruise director, did a very good job with all of the entertainment, from the people helping during Bingo to the awesome young people doing the stage shows. He is very funny on his own and seemed to be everywhere making sure everyone was happy at all times. They have the usual events going on such as learning how to make towel animals and ice carving. Some of the food was excellent, while other food was average. As I've seen other people say, your cruise is what you make it. We had an exceptional time, even with the lack of sunshine, high winds and rocking ship.

Cabin 6E

Our cabin was very clean and roomy. I was very happy with all of the space. The beds are very comfortable. The bathroom was larger than my last cruise, and you want to stay in the shower forever because it feels so good.
