This was the fifth time on Indy as she's affectionately called. She is our favourite ship having had 17 other cruises with different lines. However, RCCI are letting standards slip, twice my breakfast was lukewarm and cold by the time I got to the end of it, also twice out of the four days I had meat that was very fatty in the MDR and on one night the food was only just hot enough to eat.
The price of excursions are way over priced, we paid $79 (£64.78 at todays rates) for a 30 minute coach ride just to transfer us to Honfleur and back, probably cheaper in a Taxi.
Drinks get ever more expensive with the 18% added on top of an already overpriced drink. On P&O I get 8.5% taken off of drinks that are pretty much the same as you would pay in your local pub, so in effect 26.5% off plus a cheaper drink to start with.
Cabin was clean and comfortable, our Cabin steward "Norlan" was excellent, always had a smile and did a good Job. The Seats on the balcony have been replaced from the reclining ones we've had before and were not good for trying to sun yourself, as you could only sit bolt upright.
Embarkation was excellent, usually is with RCCI
Honfleur was lovely, But as already stated the 30 minute "Shuttle" (That's all it was) was expensive.
