As we were booked into a suite the embarkation was speedy as always and with the Venice airport only 1/2 hour away we were soon on board, unlike previous cruises though we had to wait to get in the suite until the general announcement whereas previously we had been able to go straight there regardless.

The Jade is due for a refit next year and not before time, having sailed on her for 10 cruises over the past 6 years we have noticed a decline in the general look and feel and we are booked again next year after the planned refit so hopefully she will once again look her best

Cabin was great and kept nice and clean by the very friendly steward, having sailed on the Jade many times we have noticed the suites are now looking a little tired but still have very comfortable beds and everything that we need to relax and enjoy ourselves
