Sailing out of Brooklyn was a big plus. No flights, just an easy drive from NJ. Embarkation was easy. I needed a wheel chair which I arranged in advance and they took me right to the room without any hassle. The service of everyone that we ran into was wonderful. We had lunch in Alfredo's and avoided the hubbub of the buffet and everyone boarding. Due to my handicap and having difficulty walking, I had pre arranged for a scooter for the week. It was waiting for me just outside the stateroom which was a real pleasure as I had no walking to do on a big ship such as the Regal. Our cabin BB class was not large but adequate for a one week cruise. The weather was cool so we were only out on the balcony a few times during the cruise.
Generally the food was good in the main dining, much better than the specialty restaurants, which we did not feel was worth the additional money. We had anytime dining, and never waited more than 20 minutes for a table. The shows were very good and enjoyable.
Due to using the scooter, we only got off in Boston (not anything at the dockside to see, and Halifax which had a nice boardwalk and shops, and I was able to use the scooter to get around and see everything. The ship sailed beautifully and we never felt a bunp. We took no excursions, but in discussion with others, they were happy with what they booked. Disembarkation was as simple as enbarkation. This was our 2nd fall cruise.so we would not book another New England Canada cruise, but we would defiinitely book another Pincess cruise.
The cabin was not large, but fine for a 7 day cruise
embarkation was simple an efficient
Nice boardwalk and shops at the dock
