This was my husband and I's first cruise. We booked with a travel agent at the time. We flew to Fort Lauderdale and took a taxi to the Miami port. Embarkation lines and process wasn't bad at all. We waited in line less than an hour. We went right up to the pool deck and there was food ready at the buffet. All of the excursions offered were well priced and exciting! The muster drill was a nightmare. I'm not sure if Carnival has changed how they handle these. We were basically herded outside in the Miami heat with life vests on for over an hour. All of our meals were wonderful and we ate mainly in the main dining room. I did see later that the buffets offered the same meals and I would have much rathered not eating at the same time every evening. Service in our cabin was wonderful. I loved how our room was turned down every night while we were at dinner. Pools weren't too crowded, we had no issue getting chairs. All in all it was one of the best vacations I've ever had and it inspired me to finally book our second cruise! Glory was also going into dry dock right after our cruise ended. I'm sure the updates since them are plentiful.

Cabin Review

Balcony

The cabin was functional, a bit small and Carnival's theme colors are very dated. The balcony doors slam and you can here them a lot.
