Wonderful, wonderful cruise ~ everything was catered for, except for some peace and quiet, so much to praise - the staff, the food, the cleanliness, the smooth running of everything from boarding, to stateroom steward providing everything to please, to dining and finally disembarking - how easy Celebrity made everything ~ my only complaint being the noisy music everywhere we went, and I am a music lover, but background music should be just that, background, not something you need to raise your voice to be heard over, and could there not be some places inside and out where it is quiet and music free ~ please?
Our stateroom steward quickly asked if there was anything we needed - we asked for the mini bar to be cleared so that we could use the fridge, an extension lead for my husband's C-PAP machine (sleep apnoea) he even thoughtfully brought distilled water for it, and iced water - all appeared in no time at all. The dining room manager quickly remembered where we liked to sit and was always wonderfully good humoured even when surrounded by cruisers all needing her attention at once.
One day after a day ashore 2 or 3 hundred people all came into the main dining room at once, I feared we would have a long wait for the waiting staff, and more particularly the kitchen staff, to deal with everyone but I couldn't have been more wrong ~ I was so impressed with the speed with which everyone was served and the quality of service and food was impeccable. Congratulations Celebrity Silhouette main dining staff and kitchen!
I was very impressed with the cabin, super clean, good sized balcony, super comfy bed with nice pillows and bed linen, en suite was fine with good storage space and good shower, always plenty of hot water. My only gripe would be wardrobe was rather small and not easily accessable - if the doors were removed it would be infinitely better.
The over riding feeling I'm left with is the desire to come back for more!
