This was the only cruise that had a excursion to Speyer Tecknic museum which was one of our must do's to the travel agent .It was a combination celebration for us for a birthday and wed anniversary , unfortunately we didn't get to see anything of Basel our departure point as we were bussed from Zurich to the ship. impressed with our welcome aboard , glass of champagne and our room with a balcony . Embarking went smoothly and the meals on board were first class. Our Cabin was awesome , Dining a true 5 star experience . Entertainment was good , but not to the same level as the service and dining standard.

Service was impeccable from bar, dining and room service . Port and shore excursions were fabulous, we had one disappointment we missed the first port stop due to our ship missing its lock time , which was pretty disappointing for all on the ship. Our ship age group varied from 50 to 80yr olds which was a good mix , no children on board. We loved the experience as we had done ocean cruises in the past . Loved the fact all was paid for , no extra costs on board unless you wanted a massage, hairdressers , extra washing done or something at the shop. Disembarking went just as smoothly and the Hotels recommended by the cruise to stay in and fantastic as so easy to find and again good 4 to 5 star service. If we get the chance again would certainly do another.
