Chose this crossing as I don't fly and thought it was about time I visited the US and Canada.

Embarkation was quick and efficient although why I had to give my hotel address in NYC when I had ESTA was puzzling to say the least. When I got to my cabin, 8080 - balcony had a lovely view of a lifeboat!, was pleased to see my luggage had already arrived.

Had a quick wander around and found the Chefs Galley section of Kings Court where there was room to sit and get a late lunch.,

Balcony, obstructed view

Cabin DB

Roomier than I expected with plenty of storage space. Good sized balcony and on the right side to get the sun on the voyage to NYC. Kettle and tea/coffe take up all the space above the fridge.

Small two seat sofa nice to look at but not that comfortable to sit on.

Bed good size but tall people might find it a bit short, pillows good but mattress a bit soft for me.

Bathroom - shower OK but low pressure and curtain can let water into rest.
