Sail Date: Sep 2016
Cabin: Standard Interior Stateroom

We needed a cruise to return home to Sydney & the Noordam was leaving at the right time.

We have never sailed on a HAL ship before, it was not our first cruise.

Found the ship very nice, inside cabin very roomy & great service from our room stewards,

Port Reviews

San Diego

Spent the most time of the day on the navel ship the Midway that was a wonderful ship & lots of history

Honolulu

Went to the Avation Museum on Ford Island another great day.

Took local bus from near the port to the visitors information centre took just over an hour but a nice ride

Maui

Just took a stroll to the shops & the outlet shops found them a bit of a let down, the town was very friendly & clean

Pago Pago

Do not like that port find the people rude & the place is expensive

Suva

The dirtiest port I have ever been too hope not to go there again

Port Vila

Used the water taxi to go into the town hat was good & a very nice ride, wondered around the town & got harassed by the taxi drivers, one thing I can not enjoy.

Noumea

Found the town so much cleaner than it was 6 month ago when we were there, took the shuttle into town & walked to the garden in the centre of town where you find free wifi then walked up the hill to the loverly old church that was open this time it is only small & they are doing so restoration which has been going on for awhile, but is really loverly inside well worth the walk
