We are avid cruisers and have tried most cruise lines over the years and find if you look hard enough for fault you will find it but we must say that the Maasdam was a true delight to sail on. The ship itself is well presented and well maintained for its 20 something years of service and a perfect size for the classic cruise experience.

The staff on board were a happy professional team who went out of their way to make sure you lacked for nothing. The waiting staff in the MDR were efficient and friendly and even though we were on open seating they never mucked up once.

The front desk were a pleasure to deal with and sorted out any issues we had fast and followed up to make sure we were happy (thanks Josephine and Christine). Read more
