The ship was nice, the entertainment amazing, the food less than mediocre with the exception of the Brazilian steak house and Le bistro. The included dining rooms were not entirely "included," the buffet was unorganized and the food was lacking in choices, and never tasted fresh.

The itinerary was extremely poor with the weather conditions we were to face. The revised itinerary to Fl and the Bahamas were just awful. Both looked to be in hurricane recovery and the Bahamas offered no excursions due to the lack of time we were spending at port. We did not feel safe walking around town and spent less than an hour off the ship.

I'm highly disappointed in the planning of NCL and the nickel and dining for every little thing on the ship. We spent a great deal of money even it was hurricane season. This being my 3rd cruise and my 3rd liner, I much prefer Royal Caribbean to this. The staff was much more pleasant, the customer service impeccable, the food amazing (even the buffet), and the overall satisfaction out weighs the experience I had with NCL. I will not be sailing with them again.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Looked to be in dismay. Hurricane recovery looking. The beaches were poor, the shopping was all tourist shopping, and there was no way I was spending almost $200 for a round trip bus tickets for 2 people to Disney or Universal (without park tickets) for less than 6 hours.

Nassau

Disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!! Dirty, unsafe, and nothing but cruise ship company owned shops right off of port. There were no offers for excursions to Atlantis (probably the only SAFE place to go on the awful port) since we were at port for only 6 hours. We were told not to be alone in town after dark, we spent less than an hour off the ship.
