We joined a group that had chosen this week on this itinerary. We had a great time. Getting on and off the ship was very quick. I thought the food in the main free Skyline dining room was very good. We thought it was better than the food in the main free dining room on the Norwegian Sun cruise we took out of Tampa in January 2015. Most days this dining service was quick. One day it was incredibly slow for some reason which may have been related to the size of our group.

We felt incredibly spoiled going to breakfast at Cagney's almost every morning. There were a few extra perks with a suite we hadn't informed ourselves of prior to cruising. One thing I have to say is that getting on and off the ship on both of our Norwegian cruises was very easy, more so on the POA. I noticed that a friend of ours in a non-suite commented on Facebook that getting on and off the ship was very easy for him too. Before I cruised I had read the horror stories about the length of time it takes to board a cruise ship and am glad we did not have this problem. That being said, if you try to board at the last minute to get on a tender you will be in a lineup with the other last minute travelers.

With no days at sea the activities available were a bit less than on the Norwegian Sun which had a day at sea going out and coming back.

Cabin Review

Penthouse with Large Balcony

Cabin SG

Very nice with a full size bathtub and a large area to change and hang/store clothes. We had hoped to get a cabin with a Murphy bed but those were all sold out. Also note that there is a curtain that separates the bed from the couch area.
