Why this cruise? Being from central Canada we were attracted to the fact that the ship left from a Canadian port and we could drive to it. The numerous sea days were also a factor as was the length of the cruise. We embarked at about 1:30; the Princess portion went very smoothly and quickly. There was a some delay at US customs.
We were a group of 7, all with balcony cabins (3 on Aloha deck). The cabins were clean and relatively well maintained. Our cabin steward was not exceptional but did the job. One of our group had a plumbing issue in the cabin; it took two tries and an unacceptable waiting time to have the problem rectified; not sure why the ball was dropped on this issue.
Nice cabin; showing its age a bit but nothing to impact our enjoyment of the cruise. Cabin attendant did an acceptable job.
