We chose this cruise because of its itinerary as we had never been to asia. Embarkation in Shanghai was very slow at least 2 and a half hours once on the ship all seemed great. First night in main restaurant was shockingly slow took an hour and a quarter to get our drinks and still waiting for starters. We had a table by the main service area absolutely freezing second night moved to another table and a definite improvement had four charming ladies sharing with us things looking up. Most of us found the standard of the food poor, menus looked good but never impressed with what turned up. The food in windjammer was average but if you wanted a hot pudding you had the choice of bread pudding or bread pudding ?. We had the ultimate drinks package which seemed great and it would have been if their had been enough people serving you in the bars. Drinks service around pool area at times non existent had to queue at pool bars whenever a drink was needed seems as if they have your money up front so no need to rush. Waiter's in restaurant and cabin steward worked really hard and always impressed. We found the entertainment very average apart from the ice show which was great the timing of everthing did not seem to work with second sitting in restaurant Overall we loved the ship the itinerary and the places we visited we hate to moan but somethings just not good enough.
