We chose the Celebrity Solstice because it was rated Australia's best cruise ship 2015 and the ports of call, Hawaii, Lahaina Maui, Bora Bora,French Polynesia, Papeete,Tahiti, Moorea, French Polynesia, Auckland, Bay of Islands New Zealand, and Sydney Australia. The ports of call were great, but as seasoned travellers we did not use the ships shore excursions as they are always over priced by comparison with local tours, and doing it yourself doesn't present any problems, and as a small group you have a much better time.

Boarding in Honolulu and disembarkation in Sydney, went wthout a hitch.

Our welcome onboard consisted of being continually harassed (17 times in 4 hours) to buy the overpriced beverage package. Great welcome to a supposedly four star, best cruise ship in Australia. When I questioned Guest Relations they said that they never get complaints about the harassing.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 2B

Cabin 2B

Cabin and verandah were of a comfortable size and well kept by cabin staff. Bed was comfortable and shower size was sufficient.
