This was our second Uniworld cruise, having done Basel to Amsterdam two years ago.
The Ambassador is among their smaller ships but our suite was outstanding. There was a nice sized witting area with plenty of storage and closet space. The bath was large, double sinks and a big walk in shower and was well appointed. These suites look like what you would expect to fine in a five star hotel. The other staterooms on this ship were pretty small (10x12) so I strongly recommend you go online to look at the dimensions of the rooms on any of their ships... they can vary greatly.
The Ambassador had the best staff I've run across. The tour Director, Ramona appeared to work 24 hours a day to please passengers. She even arranged for some private tours for us along the way, for an additional charge which was very reasonable. Our butler, Zelko treated us like royalty as did the bar staff and wait staff, particularly Zlotko, Sam, De Jan and others. The food was wonderful and the chef was always offering to make us something else if he thought we didn't like what was on the menu. But the menu choices were always varied, well prepared and beautifully presented.
As nice as any 4/5 star hotel room I've stayed in. Fabric wall coverings, draperies, Full marble baths with double sinks and a large walk in shower. Plenty of closet and storage space. The suite was immaculate. Crystal decanters of vodka, scotch, gin and brandy were in the room upon arrival and were replenished as needed. If you wanted a particular brand, your wish was their command.
guided tour of the BMW plant was great.
did a private tour arranged by the ship's tour director. Toured Courtroom 600 and went through a guided tour covering Hitler and WW II
Took a six hour private by car and on foot. A great way to see the important sites of Prague
