Would rate this as a 4+ Rather than just a 4

Will try to cover lots of points

1. Check in, luggage taken efficiently, in NY, in line for about 20 mins then quickly processed and on board, as we had drinks package was to be worth it as it was free.

Cabin Review

Cabin OA

Cabin 8612 was outside with big window, we have had balconies before, (due to weather did not think we would use it.)but have to say room size was good, good shower area, toilet a little tight I'm 5' 10", but it was ok, yes have to finish dry off in cabin from shower, but nice cabin and comfable bed, also able to get all three cases under bed for storage, a large, medium and carry on, although if have a very deep case may struggle. A little tight walking round side of bed.

Port Reviews

New York (Manhattan)

We spent 3 days in NY before Cruise and stayed at Ink 48 just one block from Cruise port and ship embarkation. NY amazing city and bumped into President Clinton, trip up statue of Liberty crown, also tour of 9/11 and museum and also wnent up the one building, all in all great 3 days before Cruise.

Halifax

We did our own thing and walked to citadel and took the tour inside which was really interesting and lots to do, worth while.

Portland (Maine)

Just a relaxing walking the harbour front shops and a terrific lobster roll and fries. Also did the fire engine trolley tour which was only $18 and well worth it, good tips as we then walked up to the observation tower and had fantastic views 360 of the area right out to mt Washington.

Newport

Our favourite place to visit, tender, which I got in line for to make sure on 1st tender as we had booked a tour of Rough point mansion at 9.30. We arrived at Newport and walked the 1.5 miles to the mansion, which was amazing and the only mission with a personal tour also cost us $27 each rather than the ship cost £75, ok we walked but we had 3 people on our tour and not 20 plus which there was in the following tour group, so we felt it was worth booking directly by email.

Then did cliff walk to the Breakers mansion totally opposite end of the spectrum of houses, recommended both to compare. Then got local bus back to town and a little shopping is some lovely shops, and nice clothes which we did end up spending here. A really lovely place to visit, and would go back again
