Being in the Penthouse Suite, our embarkation was special and smooth and quick. We were escorted to Cagney's Steakhouse upon boarding and enjoyed a great lunch with superb service. On to our suite afterwards with luggage waiting in the room (even with an offer to help unpack, which we declined).

We had the specialty dining package and drink package. We enjoyed eating in Cagney's and The Bistro the most...great food and service. We had dinner on this longish cruise several times in Windows, sat at the same table with our traveling companions and after one night, the staff new our drinks of choice and we were made to feel very at home.

The ship is older, but not so shop worn. We found the public areas not crowded and very accommodating.

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Penthouse with Large Balcony

Cabin SG

Our first time in a suite on any cruise. Ample room, great having separate living/dining from sleeping quarters. Bathroom was huge with jetted tub, separate shower, double sink; all marble with floor to ceiling windows above tub and in shower. There were paintings in all rooms, plus a beautiful mural over the bed. Mirrored walls in the bedroom with plenty of closet space. The butler (Clint) was on call all the time and even helped us host a couple of cocktail parties for instant friends made during the cruise. It was our bucket list trip to the Mediterranean and to cruise in the aft-facing penthouse suite made it unforgettable!

Port Reviews

Toulon

We took a private Wine Tasting tour of the Provence area. Wonderful drive thru the country side to 3 different wineries specializing in White, Red, and Rose.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Booked a day tour with RomeInLimo. What a great day with 3 other couples in the Limo. Careening around town with stops at the Colliseum, Vatican, Circus Maximus, Trevi Fountain, Forum. Would highly recommend Giavani our driver.

Naples

Again hired a driver (RomeInLimo) to go to Sorrento, Positano, and the ruins at Herculaneum. The best.

Mykonos

We just walked around this great Island. Shopping, Windmills, great lunch outdoors, getting lost in the maze of streets with beautiful scenes around every corner.

Athens (Piraeus)

We did the Hop On/Hop Off bus and was thrilled with the experience. Easy to ride and you are totally at your own pace all day. It stops at all of the important places and is always on schedule...no waiting.

Dubrovnik

What an incredible unexpected surprise this beautiful city was. We just wandered around on our own, had lunch on the beautiful pier, and marveled at the architecture.

Kotor

Hired a driver here thru Mont Travelers and drove up into the mountains to the ancient capital. Enchanting day with mist on the mountains and breathtaking views.

Venice

We spent 3 days here. Such a storybook place. Great food, shopping, incredible architecture, art, people.
