We chose this cruise for a birthday celebration. The pricing was very attractive. Even though the reviews have been mixed, we decided to give it a try. We are crown and anchor diamond members. We chose an owners suite. The room was very nice and well maintained. The ship has been extensively refurbished. It looks good for its age. Food in the MDR and windjammer was generally good. Service was not quite up to Royal Caribbean 's usual standard. Chops did a good job for the special birthday dinner. This ship lacks many of the features we have become accustomed to. The loyalty program was lacking. There was little opportunity to interact with other crown and anchor members. There is no nightly get together, a feature we enjoy. The entertainment was the high point of this cruise. The singers and dancers were among the best we have seen on any ship. The individual entertainers were also very good, especially, the comedian. The old saying that you get what you pay for, applies here. This is an older ship with limited facilities, and There are issues with the air conditioning in some areas, but overall, it delivered good value. The ship is good for short cruises. It would be a good choice for first timers to get their feet wet.
