My husband and I have cruised many times in the past with Celebrity and it was always a thoroughly enjoyable experience characterized by very good food, excellent friendly staff, great entertainment and very well maintained and cared for ships.

So it was after a gap of about five years, where we had sailed on other lines for a change of experience[ and sadly found some with declining standards e.g The Quality of the buffet ingredients & choice, the friendliness of some staff ] that we returned to Celebrity this September, for their Azores, Canary Islands & Lisbon Cruise.

The key question for us was would the Celebrity Eclipse cruise replicate, or better, the excellent experience we held fondly, in our memory, of sailing with them previously. Read more
