Here's a quick rundown of our latest cruise over the weekend on the Inspiration:

The Inspiration itself is considered an older ship, about 20 years old I believe, but they have modernized it.

Cabin 6D

We were located on deck 5 with 2 adults and 2 teens in the room. We were given a queen size bed (2 twins put together) and then had the overhead bed brought down and an extra "cot" brought in underneath it when we came back from dinner. We made what use of we we could out of the space between the 4 of us but the beds were all comfy. The shower would at time overflow from the drain on the other side of the partition into the bathroom/sink area and the floor would get wet. This happened maybe only a third of the time, I assume the drains were getting full at different times of the day depending on usage but we managed. Our room steward was friendly and took care of our luggage and anything else we needed. There's a flat screen TV in the room but no HD channels with just some local Florida channels for some reason as well as ESPN and CNN and a few others. WIFI inside the room worked great, worth it to get the $5 a day plan.

Port Reviews

Ensenada

I've done the Blowhole in the past, just need to see it once in my opinion. This trip we went into town via shuttle. Some shopping and a stop at Pappas & Beer.

Los Angeles

The "Spruce Goose" terminal went fairly quickly. Lines were about 10 minutes long to check-in. Parking is $19 a day if you bring your own car and park in the garage. Customs lines to leave went fairly quickly.
