ANTHEM OF THE SEAS

Webster dictionary defines the word ANTHEM: any song of praise and glory. Therefore, I should be praising the Royal Caribbean Cruise ship Anthem of the Seas. This is not going to happen. My anthem (song of praise) of the cruise ship reaches out to some of the crew members who tried to make this and enjoyable cruise (great job to you six) then there were others who had an attitude and could care less.

Upon boarding this ship, we could not find our cabin because there was no help and the signage directing you to the cabins was poor. Cruising MEGA ships or floating hotels is not for me. You had to wait in line to eat, wait for an elevator, find the table to reserve seats for the shows, which tended to be on the dark side. Deck five has all the stores, designed like a mall. Unfortunately, when they add the outside venders it looked like third world country bazar. Trying to get to your assigned restaurant for dinner, at your assign time, at your assigned table and had to pass through the “BAZAR” was a challenge on most evenings. To top this try finding a restroom on this ship! Once you had found the logo then you are directed down a series of corridors leading you to…. and finally, relief.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom with Virtual Balcony

Cabin N

Could' t find the cabin because of the the way the directions read and the corridors didn't match. Many people had the same problem so we compare notes as to what we saw and where! Cabin was roomy. Virtual view is nothing more that a wall projection of the forward looking ships camera.

Port Reviews

King's Wharf

Nice port, got off the ship with the masses

Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

Boarding was a dream. Debarking was a night mare
