Decided to give HAL a try as it was a line we had never tried before and wished to compare with other cruise lines, Also the ports it was visiting are some of our favourites.
Spent a couple of days before the cruise in Rome. Embarkation was chaotic with very little assistance for my disabled husband even though prior notification via the SRI form had been given.
Cabin 5198 at the back of the ship was fine and we made good use of the balcony as the entertainment was dire. Cabin kept clean and tidy by steward although some days it was well into the afternoon before it was attended to. We had two power outages which affected TV sockets and fridge. The first one took twelve hours to fix.

Well furnished and well kept. Bathroom shower excellent, hand basin very small rectangle measuring about 10 by 12 inches. Bathroom small confined space shower took up most of the room. Toilet roll holder not user friendly due to placement of it. Power outages on two separate occasions. Goodsize aft balcony.
