We started to plan a visit to family in Spain and ended up with a river cruise with add-on Switzerland option. This was our first river cruise (both have done large ships) and we loved it !!! The ship is not as long & big as Viking and others (less people) and the service was excellent. Cabins were serviced 3-4 times a day, laundry service was prompt and returned the same day, meals . . . . oh the meals !!! There were plenty of activities and entertainment, or if you preferred just some quiet time with each other in the lounge or in our cabin. Our cabin was on the top deck w/french patio doors that allowed us to be 'outside' as we cruised the river. Overall on-board service was excellent, excellent, and excellent. Having lived in Europe for over 10 years the shore excursions were nice but somewhat touristic. However, my spouse who has never traveled to Central Europe loved the entire cruise; a great cultural experience
