We researched several different cruise lines and spoke with many seasoned cruisers before booking our trip on the Escape - and all of that research was well worth it. From the moment we stepped into the cruise terminal until the day we stepped off the boat back in Miami, we had an amazing experience.

Embarkation and disembarkation were extremely smooth. Upon return to Miami, we were off the boat in less than 20 minutes.

The ship is spotless, the crew does a great job. We had a mini suite (14230) and the room never seemed too small. The bathroom was surprisingly large and the double sink was great when we were both getting ready to leave the cabin. Our steward, Alfie, really put in the extra effort in keeping our room tidy and the towel animals were a fun surprise every night.

Spacious and very comfortable. Large bathroom and great storage space.

Port Reviews

Nassau

Not a fan. Found the private beaches dirty and the "vendors" on the beaches extremely aggressive. We sat for 10 minutes and were approached at least 7 times. Impossible to relax. Tried Junkanoo first and then took a cab to Cabbage beach which wasn't any better. Thank God we found The Bearded Clam bar and spent the remainder of the afternoon there with some very lovely people. Went back to the ship early. If possible, in the future I will avoid any cruises that stop in Nassau.

Miami

We drove into Miami on Saturday morning so did not really get to experience the city.
