Lets start by saying the embarkation process went really well. Secondly the Glory is a lovely boat. Our cabin was spacious and comfortable except for the beds. They were lumpy crooked and squeeky. I am not being picky as a bunch of other people on our floor told me the same thing. Our cabin steward was wonderful. The best we have ever had and our dining room waiters were also great. That being said the waitors on the lido deck were terrible. Slow to serve and slower to bring our drinks. We had an issue with preordering food for the sail away. It never showed up . We called and were told it was on the way. 2 hours later we received a call saying it would come the next day as requested. They were told again that we had wanted it for sailaway with the drinks we had ordered and to cancel it. They delivered it the next day anyway and we had to throw it out as we were not in the room and it was all yucky. Took them 3 days to resolve the problem. They did not give us back our money but gave us some chocolate strawberries after repeatedly telling them we did not want the hor deuve plate replaced. The food was hit or miss. It was good some nights and absoultly awful other nights whether we ate in the dining room , lido deck or had room service. It seems like they have cut back on some of the quality to make up for recession problems maybe????Also the other problem we had was the cleaning of rooms up to 9.30 at night. vacumming the hallways and banging there glass trays around. I understand the rooms have to be cleaned but when you are putting little kids to bed at 8 and they are being woken up by crashing and banging ect... well it does not make for happy kids in the morning. we took the suites to have room for the kids and some quiet . The disembarkation was very quick and good. All in all it was a very good/bad cruise..... might have to reconsider carnival and maybe try another cruiseline....

Cabin Review

Cabin 11

Our cabin was very roomy and comfortable except for the bed. The balcony was great. The location was not good. We could hear the singers in the atruim very loudly and the room where the service people keep there supplies was very close so the noise was very bad. My friends who had the same room futher down had no noise.
