My husband and I chose this cruise because of the itinerary, and the promo offers . We are celebrating our 45th anniversary and wanted to do something special. 2 friends joined us in this celebration cruise. Italy and Greece have long been on our bucket list.

We arrived in Barcelona 3 days prior to cruise, and stayed 2 days following, before flying back to Canada . Barcelona , is a wonderful city with lots to see and do. Took a taxi to the port which was only 2 min. away.

Embarkation was easy and soon we were on board having a glass of champagne handed to us. Our rooms were not yet ready ,so after enjoying our champagne we proceeded to go for lunch at the Oceanview cafe. This buffet offers multiple areas of cuisine. Italian,Indian,Mexican,American etc. All items were labelled as to content for gluten free, vegetarian, dairy etc. Our friends who are Celiac ,and must be gluten free, were really impressed. The desserts were awesome! Beautifully displayed ,tempting and delicious.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 2A

Cabin 2A

Great cabin on starboard side. Quite roomy with sofa and large very comfortable bed.

The bathroom is larger than the other ships we have been on. Larger shower with doors rather than a curtain. Lots of storage and adequate closet space.

Have both 120 and 220 volt plug ins,so no need for adapters.

Our cabin attendant Rhonda(from Jamaica) and her assistant ,took excellent care of us.

Port Reviews

Barcelona

Barcelona our embarkation port. Love this city ,lots to see and do.

Santorini

Loved Santorini. Tendered in to port. Took the cable car up to the top. Cost 5 euro, and takes only a few min.

Caught the local bus to go to beautiful Oia. The views here are postcard perfect, the people friendly, the village very clean.

Took the cable car down as well. A bit of a wait as the crowds were now gathering to go back to the ship. Noticed a lady with a foot injury, being carried up from the donkey trail. We were happy to wait for the cable car!

Mykonos

Easy to do this port on your own. Our ship managed to get a birth so we did not have to tender. Very small and charming. Went to the windmill area and Little Venice.

Athens (Piraeus)

Did the HOHO Red bus which would have been great. However it poured rain and thus put a damper on our day!. Did see the Acropolis ,the Parthenon,Syntagma Square. here there was to be the Changing of the guard. This was cancelled due to the rain. The bus had a very good radio sets with commentary.
