We chose this cruise because we live in Vancouver and didn't have to fly anywhere, we also love the 5 sea days each way.
Embarkation took a very long time - our luggage got to our room before we did. Disembaraktion was very easy.
I found the ship poorly laid out. It is a bunch of small, chopped up rooms with pillars every time you turn around. There are so many pillars in the Vista Lounge, that is makes about 25% of the seats unuseable. Our cabin - 1090 - was very noisy - clanking and clanging of, what we were told - were the pipes. The Paino Bar is such a small chopped up room, with lots of pillars, that extra chairs needed to be brought in almost every night.
Liked the location of the cabin. Very noisy, especially the last 2 or 3 days. Could use more lighting at the desk.
We took a cab to Waikiki and walked around.
We tendered into Lahaina. It is such a neat little town to walk around in. Had lunch a Kimo's - must have the Hula Pie.
We walked to the little strip mall less than a mile from the pier. We have taken excursions here on previous cruises.
Took the shuttle into town and walked around here. Victoria is a pretty city we have visited several times over the years.
