I highly recommend the Norwegian Cruise line and the Getaway, which I enjoyed with 6 other girl friends who all turned 50 in the last year or so. This was my first cruise with this cruise line and they are top notch. Every single person on staff from Captain to the guy who polishes the railings all day were just fantastic. In fact the funnest part of the day was listening to the captain give his talks, they were so amusing. The cruise director, Silas was amazing, so personable and yet extremely professional. The food in the buffet area was interesting and good every day and the dining rooms were great also. The main entertainment was world class. The Million Dollar Quartet and Burn the Floor were both worth watching twice! Everyone was so friendly and service was done at an incredible level of energy. My only negatives were the ports of call, they were just okay, not exceptional and the music was a little too loud -actually hurting my ears during the finale show- but I still had a wonderful time and will definitely go again on a cruise with Norwegian.
