Although no cruise ship, crew, itinerary and food will make all cruisers happy all the time, we are very happy that we took this 14 night cruise on the Celebrity Silhouette. Like all other Solstice Class ship, the Celebrity Silhouette is a very beautiful ship. If the opportunity presents itself, we would love to cruise on this ship again.

We stayed in Room 2140 on the Resort Deck. The room location is great. It is a floor below the Oceanview Cafe and is on the same deck as the gym, spa and the pool. The room size is good and the size of the balcony is larger than the balconies on many mega-ships. Despite that some reviewers complained about noise from the cafe at late night or early morning hours, the room is very quiet during our stay. Hippolito kept our room nice and clean and delivered us fresh fruit and snack everyday.

We chose (anytime) Select Dining option and ate at 7:30pm in the Main Dining Room. The waiting time for a table for 2 is never over 15 minutes. We love it. We can always find something good to eat. We skipped desert since the choice of low cal desert is limited. Read more
