We took the trip to New Zealand and had a lot of beautiful stops on the way. They reversed the itinerary at the last minute because of a storm so that I had to change every single shore excursion but the pursers desk was helpful here. Some of the ports were fantastic and the scenic cruising was great but some of the ports were lackluster. The ship is a bit run down if you ask me. It seems like the stabilizers were not as good as on the Golden Princess so a lot of people got seasick in moderate weather. The purser's desk staff were very nice as was the crew but the tenders were leaking with only slight rain.

Because many of the passengers were disabled there was not difficulty accessing exercise equipment. the Princess theater was too small for the group to all be seated at once. They should consider any time dining it was aggravating to have the late or early seating all the time.. They even charged us extra for Ice cream if you want it at the horizon court the same applied to hot chocolate upstairs but I noticed that if you go to the dining room at certain hours of the day you can get it included. Penny wise and pound foolish if you ask me!

Auckland

We went with friends and had a wonderful time.

Akaroa

Rainy day made it less than optimal but it was fun to see all the sheep anyway.
