Good cruise, but with 150 years of experience, Cunard should do better.

Sail Date: Sep 2016

This was a Fall Foliage Cruise (New England and Atlantic Provinces). We booked a cheap outside cabin. We had been on the QM2 on a transatlantic cruise years ago, before the recent remastering. We are reasonably agile and competent seniors. Normally we cruise much smaller ships. So much for background.

Now for the good, the bad and the ugly.

The good: QM2 is a wonderful, traditional ocean liner - not a cruise ship. The cabins are very nice, simple and large. The bed was a King ! The service was between very good and outstanding. The food was between good and very good. Bar service is exceptional. Passenger demographics was mid 70's - and no kids.
