We have just arrived home from a weeks cruise aboard the Thomson Majesty, It was our first ever cruise so we can't compare it to other ships, but our experience was nothing but a delight. Ok there were one or two things that were disappointing so lets get those out the way, we stayed in an outside cabin on Deck 3 and to say it was small is an understatement, it was built for one person not two, saying that, i am quite a tall, stocky fella which didn't help, but a cabin is to sleep in so it was no big deal, the other gripe we had was the self service buffet on Deck 10, more often than not the food was lukewarm at best, but there are other places to eat and we tended to use the Seven Seas restaurant on Deck 5 most of the time, the food and service there were excellent every time. The good points on board far outweigh the bad ones though, the staff are fantastic and made our holiday, nothing was too much trouble for them, the entertainment was superb especially the night time shows, the guys and girls were brilliant every night, the trips we went on eg. Rome (even though it was a lot of walking), Sicily, Sorrento were fantastic and worth every penny. Overall we were delighted with the whole experience, so much so that we have already booked another cruise for next year, thanks for the memories.
