We chose this cruise as it included places we have always wanted to visit. It was our first cruise. The embarkation was very smooth and we were able to pop into Venice to see some of the sights. My only complaint would be the distance to the water taxi from the ship is quite a distance for a disabled person so more information on this would have been appreciated. The ship is lovely and the staff were all great. Our cabin was an inside one, we were able to select the cabin we wanted so we chose one with other cabins above and below (rather than bars, theatres etc) and close to the lifts as husband is disabled. We found it had adequate space and the shower was good. The bed was very comfortable and the steward, Terry, was great. We enjoyed the food and the entertainment and loved the excursions. Refused to pay the charges for WiFi but for keeping in touch with family would have appreciated it if it was included in the price as I believe many cruise lines are now doing. It's a little annoying that people like us who book quite far ahead pay more than people who book last minute. It was unfortunate that the flight from Genoa back to UK was at 11am so we saw nothing of Genoa. All in all, it was a fantastic experience though.
