This is was our 11th cruise. 10 with Carnival and 1 with Norwegian. We chose the Conquest because friends of ours were going and we had a small group. First of all Hurricane Matthew made me a nervous wreck the whole time before but thankfully passed and we were able to go without problem. Was worried about choppy waters but I must say this was the absolute smoothest sailing out of all of them. The Conquest is an older ship, dated a bit but still nice. We sailed on the Liberty and this one is pretty much identical to that. I like the bigger ships better. We sailed the Dream a few years back and there is just less clutter on the bigger ships.

So, the food was really good, especially for dinner in the dining room. We had a great wait staff and that always makes things more fun. The lobster was fabulous. I cannot complain about the food at all. The Lido restaurant was average, the desserts are never good on any of the ships. Our favorite is Guys Burgers. We had one every day. So good.

I did not like that there was no serenity deck on this ship. So much wasted space in the front of the ship. They are dry docking next year so I'd think they would add that. Also, the pay for fish bar in the back is a total waste. I saw one person there the entire cruise... I'm sure their may have been others but why charge there when the rest of the places are free. The other ships used to have Indian food or free fish and chips there, I didn't like that they were charging. The pizza is delicious, but lines were always long.
