We booked this cruise almost a year ago for our honeymoon. You would think it was the maiden voyage since this ship is so disorganized. About a few hours after we boarded the ship, Norwegian informed us we couldn't go to Bermuda due to Hurricane Nicole and the remnants of Matthew. We don't blame them for the weather as things happen, and we were aware that this is peak hurricane season. However, my wife did call them a day before, and the day of, and they said nothing was going to change.
Regarding the ports- Norwegian replaced almost three full days in Bermuda with a less than 9 hours in Port Canaveral and 6 hours in Nassau, Bahamas. Turns out that in both ports there were time constraints that further limited our time in port: Port Canaveral had limited excursions other than those in Orlando, and the tourist shopping area in Nassau closed at 6pm (we arrived at 3pm). The excursion staff seemed to forget the required times to meet and the necessary documents for children. This didn't really affect us, but there were several families rushing 10 minutes before the tour started to get their kids passports when they were previously told that Florida didn't need IDs for children.
In addition, my wife and I were annoyed with the reservation process. It seemed that with the changes, people on board made new reservations or changed their previous ones- this didn't leave many reservations for those who were new to this system. If you didn't make your reservations the first day (or previously), you end up waiting online for the dining room, comedy club, shows, etc. The food was good, but we were not impressed. The food in the dining rooms, Taste and Savour, was lukewarm.
The cabin was nice and clean. The balcony was a good size. The stewardess was very attentive.
