We have just cruised on the Sun Princess . The ports were 5 Islands near and around New Guinea, then the Solomon Islands and then 3 islands around Vanuatu. Finely our last port was Brisbane and finally arriving back in Sydney. The service was excellent and everyone was very friendly but our cabin steward was the best we have ever had. We have since organized another 2 cruises back to back in 2017. We came away from this cruise feeling very relaxed, and as they say "Come Back New". The food was very good and we were treated at our Dining with lots of respect and both our waiters were very caring and the service was excellent. The craft sessions were the best I have experienced and it was a joy to go to them. The new beds were very comfortable although I did take my own pillow. The embarkation both ways ran very smoothly.
Excellent Excellent
The village people were very friendly and although it rained in both ports we really enjoyed the experience.
Again it was just lovely to experience the culture and people of this Island.
How peaceful and relaxing beach. We didn't go for a swim but we just spent time with our feet in the waters edge.
We just took a taxi into town and walked around the town. I had been here before and it was very sad to see the damage from the recent cyclone. Our trip back to the ship in a fast boat was excellent.
We were able to catch up with Family. So this port was very special for us. We were here last year and took a cruise on the river which was excellent and we would highly recommended it.
