Cabin: Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Where do I start?? Our family of four from Australia did the Rome and Greek Islands cruise that departed on the 30th September. We had two balcony staterooms on Deck 7 midship. Ours was 7604 and our 2 children in their 20's, were the next door in 7606. The cabin was very roomy and our balcony was great. The kids were not impressed with theirs as it was half the size of ours and the ones next to theirs overlooked the cover for the lifeboats which would have been worse.

Boarding was amazingly easy and very friendly, probably because we are all seasoned cruisers and know the ropes. We were on board by 12 and first impressions were really good. Wonderful refurbishment. All the bars and lounges looked really clean and attractive. Went straight to windjammer and had a beautiful lunch.....as always. I always like their curries on board ship as they are authentic.

Our cabin attendant was really good. Our stateroom was always spotless and he was very pleasant. The kids (I'll call them that) had a different attendant and he was learning, and it showed lol. Their cruise compass was delivered in Italian lol. Where our cabin was situated was fantastic. Very midship so we were not walking aimlessly. The jewel is a wonderful size and it never seemed packed even though we were on a full tour. Being from Qld Australia we didnt fight for sunbeds, left that to the Brits. There didnt seem to b a lot of sunbeds and the pool was very small.
