Being new to NCL cruising, i wasn't too sure what to expect and was concerned 14 nights may be too long for dipping our toe into the cruise experience, but was very glad we did. The whole experience was great from beginning, flying out from Edinburgh to returning home 2 weeks later. All flights and transfers went smoothly and despite a wait for embarkation, this was perfectly understandable with hundreds of passengers to process simultaneously.

Having read several reviews on here and other sites criticising the food and on board conditions, i have to question what some folks expectations are! Food was excellent, varied and well presented, staff were courteous, pleasant and all were obviously trying very hard to please all (an impossible task given some folks unrealistic demands)

Entertainment was first class with something for everyone, the main theatre was way beyond my expectations with professional quality shows twice nightly. Bands and musicians could be found at the poolside during the day and throught the various bars in the evening and the excellant Spinaker lounge for smaller shows and parties.
