Cabin: Interior Stateroom

We chose this cruise because of it's itinerary and because it linked with another MSC cruise, The Orchestra, from Venice. We were two couples with no children.

The Poesia is a well designed ship with modern interiors overall. The cabin was very comfortable and a good size. This is where the experience stopped! In point form:

* Staff did not generally engage with the passengers - felt like it was just a job to them.

Interior Stateroom

Cabin I2

Very clean and modern. Bathroom was quite large and there was plenty of room for two of us in the cabin.

Port Reviews

Genoa

We did our own thing in Genoa

Malta (Valletta)

Malta was a highlight. We did our own walking tour from information gleaned off the internet. Easy to get around - lovely city.

Barcelona

Did our own thing. Used Hop on Hop off bus which wouldn't do again as it wasn't that interesting. Pre-booked Sagrada Familia which was the highlight along with enjoying a drink and food in a Tapas Bar. Easy to get into town via taxi which was cheaper (if you are more than 2 people) than the cruise transfer bus.

Marseille

Had a great time in Marseille doing our own walking tour which I found on the internet. Taxi from ship was cheaper (with 3 of us) than the cruise transfer bus.
