I have went on several cruises with Carnival on other larger ships lake the Magic. This was the first and last time on the Freedom. The ship is noticeably small in several areas such as main area pool and lounging, no upper covered decks around the main pool, main dining room and balconies. We had a group of 15 people all but two experienced Carnival cruisers.

The staff, especially at the Alchemy bar, were outstanding and I have nothing but rave reviews for them.

Our main dining service as very slow and half the time we did not even stay for the dessert because of how slow the service noticeably was. We ate there about 4/5 nights out of the 7 days.
