The Port Of Galveston, Texas is close to my home. This particular voyage was addressed with my sister, mother, and father. We had a great time. We celebrated my sisters birthday. We shared an inside cabin. It was so accommodating for us as we did not spend much time in the room. My parents like a balcony and that gave us options for privacy and private balcony privileges. My parents are retired military with my father being almost deaf and my mother wearing boots using a walker. They enjoyed having their two daughters with them and we have many together memories. I was the one to encourage the Liberty of the Seas as I was able to go on her maiden voyage last year out of Galveston.
We all loved the ship. Lennie was our cabin attendant and he was so friendly, accommodating and wanted to do more for us. All we needed was fresh towels each day. I am sure after seeing our cabin a few times it changed him personally. It was cruise time and cruise we did. Every deck was great for us. All the activities, music, performances, promenade offerings kept us moving around for various times of enjoyment. Both the Windjammer and the Formal Dining area provided great nourishment and quite moments. We had Eric and Veranda as our dining pleasure wait staff. Unbelievable people. I noticed much more sense of humor from the staff this particular journey than I did the original tour. It was an enlightening time and went very smooth from start to finish. The decorations were so beautiful. The ship was clean and many places were available for quiet time as well as activity time. Hope to sail with her again. We decided this cruise would be a beach cruise so we did not use the excursions this time. We enjoyed Paradise Beach, and Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville.
The room we had was good for us. It served us well.
Went obtained a cab and went to Paradise Beach then went shopping.
Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville served us well after shopping
