For the price and value of the Carnival Cruises, you get so much and after three I've never had a bad time on any of them. This cruise was out of Jacksonville FL. We left port around 5 pm and the entertainment was never ending. We often played bingo and went to the shows in the evening, and the food was always good.

While the food on a Carnival Cruise is often considered less exciting than other cruises I've never had a single complaint. The main buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner menu while not Four Star Resort food, it's certainly better than most any restaurant you're likely to just walk into. The steak and lobster in the Main Dining room was excellent as was the Prime Rib. The everyday faire of the buffet never seemed to disappoint.

I enjoyed to pro level shows in the evening as the comics were hilarious, the legends of rock show was amazing as well. Although not every show was amazing, just a personal thing about the particular music used. Shows were still well done. We got to meet the captain on formal night and he was very friendly and spent a couple of minutes just talking with us which was nice. Read more
