We chose this cruise because of a last minute discounted price. The ship is very large, 17+ decks. We especially liked the free style and complementary dining rooms, the Savory and Taste. The food there was excellent and service efficient. Staff were friendly, although a bit mechanical. Over all I think the ship is well designed for being so large. There were several drawbacks however. We were not able to get into the spa on a day pass although on line and cruise ship ads said they were available, we were told we had to buy the weekly package. There was only one pool for 3000 guests and people were crowded like sardines. Also as a smoker, I was confined to only 4 small areas to smoke, including the casino. The 1 indoor room was always so smoky, I became nauseas. Typical games like bingo and the Match game were offered daily, but did not interest us. As there was no room at the pool and we couldn't get to the spa, my husband spent much time in the cabin reading and I chit- chatted in the smoking room. Lastly, if you, like me are afraid of heights, good luck embarking and disembarking at the port of Miami. You have to go up and down a 7 story glass enclosed ramp.
