This was the first cruise my family had taken together and there was no better way to start than with a Disney Cruise. It absolutely lived up to all expectations.

Embarkation was simple and quick. My daughter and I had our own room so we went down early to board. My hubby picked up the boys from taking their finals and came down later. Both groups had easy experiences.

With 5 people in the family, 4 of whom were clearly adult sized, we opted for 2 staterooms. We got an inside and a verandah right across the hall from each other. This made going back and forth very easy (when we were actually in the rooms, which was hardly ever). We LOVED having 2 showers and 2 bathrooms. Cannot overstate that enough. And the price was very close to all 5 of us squeezing into a Deluxe Family Oceanview with Verandah. We are planning our next Disney Cruise now and will do this again.

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah

Cabin 05B

Good location. Near the forward elevators and stairs. Just a straight shot down to the theater and shopping. Quick climb up one flight to the Spa and adult pool area.

Plenty of room and loved the split bath.

Embarkation was simple and fast. We parked in a nearby lot and the shuttle dropped us off.
